1. What table is used to monitor and control the boiler water separator? The boiler water separator is mainly monitored and controlled by three instruments: pressure gauge, thermometer, and flow meter. 1. The pressure gauge is used to monitor the system pressure inside the water separator in real time, ensuring that it operates within a safe range (usually the working pressure of the heating system used in Kaizhou is 1-2 bar). Abnormal increase or decrease in pressure indicates the possibility of system failure. 2. Temperature gauges are usually pointer or digital, directly installed on the main supply and return water pipelines of the water separator, to display the real-time supply and return water temperatures of the system, which is an important basis for adjusting the combustion insulation of the boiler. 3. Flow meters (such as mechanical flow meters or ultrasonic flow meters) will be installed in each branch of high-end or large systems to accurately measure and display the actual water flow rate of each loop, in order to carry out hydraulic balance debugging and ensure uniform heating supply.

2. Installation precautions for boiler steam flow meter

When measuring liquid, it is necessary to ensure that the flow meter sensor is always completely filled with the medium and free of entrained gas.

For steam applications, instrument installation should avoid being installed at the bottom of a U-shaped bend to prevent water hammer caused by absorbing condensation during operation. The strength of the water hammer can cause excessive force on the sensing mechanism, resulting in permanent damage to the sensor. Special attention should be paid to the boiler steam flowmeter: if a valve is installed near the upstream of the sensor installation point, constantly opening and closing the valve will have a great impact on the service life of the sensor, and it is very easy to cause permanent damage to the sensor. It is recommended to avoid installing the sensor on a very long overhead pipeline. After a long time, the sagging of the sensor can easily cause sealing leakage between the sensor and the flange. If installation is necessary, pipeline fastening devices must be installed at 2D upstream and downstream of the sensor.
