1. Product Introduction of Ultrasonic Level Gauge
Ultrasonic is a type of sound wave that exceeds the range of human hearing. Like sound waves, it also undergoes reflection, refraction, and transmission when propagating in different media. Ultrasonic level gauge utilizes the principle of reflection. Firstly, the ultrasonic probe emits an ultrasonic pulse in the air, which is reflected back when it encounters an obstacle. The echo is then received by the probe, and the control unit calculates the actual distance from the emission point to the obstacle based on the time difference between transmission and reception. This is the principle of ultrasonic ranging. In areas with foggy and humid air, where condensation occurs. Or for certain specific industries, such as gas purification and circulation water absorption wells, the water comes from the process cooling equipment (such as primary and final cooling towers) in the chemical production workshop. The water temperature is generally around 50 degrees, and then cooled to around 40 degrees through a drying tower before being sent into the gas purification and circulation water absorption well. Due to the high humidity and moisture inside the well, and the fact that the temperature of the water is higher than that of the liquid level gauge probe (especially the temperature difference between day and night inside and outside the well is greater), we can see the phenomenon of condensed water droplets adhering to the probe. The water droplets attached to the probe cause the ultrasonic waves emitted by the probe to refract, resulting in an incorrect time difference between transmission and reception, and then the meter control unit calculates the incorrect liquid level
