How much does an air flow sensor cost? After a car has been running for a period of time, various malfunctions may occur. The price range for air flow sensors is approximately 100 to 600 yuan. However, the quality and model of the car vary, and the price of the air chamber annual flow sensor also varies. The price of the air flow sensor in high-end models is usually higher, and the cost of replacing it in BMW is about 1700 yuan. If there is a problem with the cars air flow sensor, not only will it be difficult to start, but there will also be phenomena such as weak acceleration, increased fuel consumption, unstable idle, and black smoke emissions during driving. Inside a car, air flow sensors play a crucial role, also known as air flow meters. For electronic fuel injection engines, their importance is self-evident. The air flow sensor can convert the inhaled air flow into an electrical signal and transmit it to the electronic control unit as the basic basis for fuel injection.
2. What are the symptoms of a broken air flow sensor?
The symptoms of a damaged air flow sensor are:
1. Decreased engine power;
;2、 Difficulty starting the engine and smooth operation;
3、 Unstable idle speed;
4、 Poor acceleration of automobiles; Huai Guan Hui
5. Tempering of intake pipe;
6、 The exhaust pipe emits black smoke. If the air flow sensor is broken, the corresponding fault light will light up on the dashboard. When starting the vehicle, there may be a situation where it needs to be started several times before it can be successfully started. During driving, phenomena such as increased fuel consumption, weak acceleration, unstable idle, and black smoke from the exhaust pipe may

1. Fault in the air flow meter circuit. In the normal operation of the engine control system, all sensors must provide correct and reliable data. When the liquid level of a sensor circuit fails, causing the output signal to exceed the normal range specified, the engine ECU cannot recognize the signal normally. For example, the maximum voltage output by the sensor is 5V. If the voltage transmitted to the ECU is 12V, the ECU cannot correctly know what information the sensor is transmitting. The ECU stores this fault information in memory and outputs a fault code. The voltage output by the air flow meter is between 0.2-4.9V. When the voltage signal received by the ECU is not within this range multiple times, a relevant fault code will be reported. However, occasionally the voltage is abnormal, and the engine ECU will not pay attention to it. This may be caused by accidental contact between the lines or vehicle bumps during driving. If the fault code P0100 is output, it indicates that the sensor circuit is short circuited or open circuited; If it is P0102, it means that the sensor circuit is open circuited; If it is P0103, it indicates that the sensor circuit is short circuited. It should be noted that if the sensor malfunctions, the circuit should be checked first, and then the sensor itself should be checked for damage.
