1. How to adjust the range of an electromagnetic flowmeter
The range adjustment of an electromagnetic flowmeter requires modifying the upper limit value of the range in the instrument parameters through device buttons or communication software. This operation will synchronously change the flow display range and output signal. 1. Range adjustment operation method: The range adjustment of electromagnetic flowmeter is mainly achieved through the following two methods: • On site button operation: enter the parameter setting menu through the instrument body button, find the "Range Upper Limit" or "Full Scale" parameter item, directly enter the new value and save it • Communication software setting: connect the configuration software through RS485/HART and other communication interfaces, modify the range parameters in the software interface and download them to the instrument. 2 When adjusting the range of key parameter settings, attention should be paid to the following parameter matching: • Range upper limit: usually set according to the maximum flow rate of the process, which is 1.2-1.5 times the normal flow rate • Range lower limit: generally kept unchanged at 0m ³/h (default cut-off point 0.5%) • Output signal: 4-20mA output will automatically follow the range change • Unit setting: needs to be consistent with the flow unit (m ³/h, L/min, etc.). 3 Operation precautions - confirm the sensor specification before modifying the range, which shall not exceed the rated range of the sensor - recheck the zero point after adjustment (usually adjust the range first and then adjust the zero point) - handle the work ticket and remove the interlock protection for instruments involving safety interlock - after parameter modi
