When installing a vortex flowmeter, the following precautions and regulatory requirements must be strictly followed to ensure measurement accuracy, chamber timing, and equipment lifespan:
1. Pipeline laying direction and medium compatibility. Horizontal pipeline installation: The influence of the measured medium temperature on the transmitter needs to be carefully considered.
. High temperature media may cause thermal expansion or performance drift of internal components of the transmitter, thereby affecting measurement accuracy. Suggestion: Avoid direct contact of high-temperature media with the transmitter, and if necessary, use insulation sleeves or extended pressure pipes. When installing horizontally, ensure that the fluid flow direction is consistent with the direction indicated on the flowmeter to prevent abnormal vortex signals. Vertical pipeline installation: Gas measurement: The fluid flow direction can be arbitrary (upward or downward), and due to the low gas density, the influence of gravity can be ignored.
