1. What are the characteristics of a rotor flowmeter and what should be noted when using it?
Performance characteristics: The rotor flowmeter is the most commonly used flowmeter in industry and laboratory.. It has the characteristics of simple structure, intuitive, low pressure loss, and easy maintenance. Rotary flow meters are suitable for measuring small flow rates through pipelines with a diameter of D<150mm, and can also measure the flow rate of corrosive media. When in use, flow meters are generally installed on vertically oriented pipe sections, and the fluid medium passes through the rotor flow meter from bottom to top. Specially designed rotor flow meters can be installed horizontally or vertically with upper inlet and lower outlet. Installation precautions: In order to ensure the normal operation of the rotor flowmeter and achieve a certain measurement accuracy, the following points should be noted when installing the flowmeter:
1. The rotor flowmeter must be installed vertically on a vibration free pipeline. The fluid flows through the flowmeter from bottom to top, and the verticality is better than 2 °. When installed horizontally, the horizontal angle is better than 2 °; (There are now horizontally installable rotor flow meters)
2. In order to facilitate maintenance, replacement of flow meters, and cleaning of measurement pipelines, metal tube float flow meters installed on process pipelines should be equipped with bypass pipelines and bypass valves;
;3、 The inlet of the rotor flowmeter should have a straight pipe section of at least 5 times the diameter of the pipe, and the outlet should have a straight pipe section of 250mm;
4、 If the medium contains ferromagnet

5、 When used for gas measurement, it should be ensured that the pipeline pressure is not less than 5 times the pressure loss of the flowmeter to ensure the stable operation of the float;
6、 In order to avoid deformation of the flow meter caused by pipelines, the flange of the process pipeline must be coaxial and parallel to the flange of the flow meter, and the pipeline support should be used to avoid pipeline vibration and reduce the axial load of the flow meter. The control valve in the measurement system should be installed downstream of the flow meter:
7. When measuring gas, if the gas is directly discharged into the atmosphere at the outlet of the flow meter, a valve should be installed at the outlet of the instrument, otherwise a pressure drop will occur at the float, causing data distortion.
8、 When installing instruments with PTFE lining, do not tighten the flange nuts too tightly without symmetry to avoid deformation of the PTFE lining;
9、 Instruments with LCD displays should avoid direct sunlight on the display as much as possible to avoid reducing the lifespan of the LCD; Instruments powered by lithium batteries should avoid direct sunlight and high temperature environments (≥ 65 ℃) as much as possible to avoid reducing the capacity and lifespan of the lithium battery. Selection Attention
1. For the selection of remote output metal tube float rotor flowmeter, it is necessary to choose a rotor flowmeter that is suitable for the explosion-proof requirements of the application site; During
